Another year came and left…

Well, 2013 sure flew by.  Many things changed and grew with Lewaine Publishing and many new things on the horizon for 2014!

laurelwreath - VOLUNTEERWe brought on a few more fabulous artistic clients to the web family.  We were also very fortunate to support Twisted Tails Film Festival.  In case you didn’t know, they are an indie horror film festival held annually at the Dallas Angelika.  But this isn’t just any horror film festival.  What makes them special is that all their proceeds went to Paws In The City, a local non-profit animal rescue.  Now, what makes this charity so dear to us is that they are 100% operated by volunteers.  This means that funds donated actually go to the care of the animals.  In addition, this is not a “box shelter”, they rely on volunteer foster homes and boarding facilities.  While Mother Nature decided to coat the town in ice and sleet, the festival went on!  We met some amazing people and look forward to next year.

The opportunity with Twisted Tails Film Festival led us to the path of printed garments!  We have started off with the light color/white garment press and are looking forward to adding a direct to garment printer in 2014 for dark fabrics!  Look for the KickStarter of “13 Dragons of the Fortress” coming soon to support the addition of dark garment printing.  We are in the planning stages of adding our own line of garments in addition to supporting our artistic clients with print on demand garments.  Just a sneak of what our “big plans” are for this new year!

The 3 C’s in life…Choices, Chances, and Changes…You must make a Choice to take a Chance or your life will never Change!  Well, we have a few “chances” we are embarking on and look forward to the positive changes ahead.

Bringing on these many topics and entries, we are also accepting guests writers/contributors, so if you are interested in being a regular or have a special entry you would like to submit, just let me know!
